Parkway Place Development

The first new office buildings in several years are now being planned for the Parkway Place Development on Adams Dairy Parkway.  Parkway Place is a 15 acre mixed use development planned for the west side of Adams Dairy Parkway and just south of RD Mize Road.  The mixed use project will consist of seven lots designed to support up to 101,800 sq ft of retail, restaurant, and office space.  The signature buildings planned for the development are two 32,910 sq ft buildings, with 10,900 sq ft of retail space available on the first floors and 22,010 sq ft of class "A" office space on the 2nd and 3rd floors of each of the mixed use buildings. 

The 1st floor is designed to support retail space that will accommodate pedestrian walkways and patios and surrounded by extensive landscaping.  The remainder of the development project consists of plans for retail buildings, a convenience store, and both sit down and fast-food restaurants. 

The developer’s attorney, Greg Grounds, commented on the project by stating "this mixed use development with office buildings represents an exciting and unique project for the city and Adams Dairy Parkway and is an indication that despite a slowing national economy, Blue Springs remains primed for new investment. We are excited to get moving on the first new construction of a large office building in Blue Springs in several years."

Adams Dairy Parkway has been fortunate to join other areas of the city in experiencing a significant up tick in new retail activity, and the developer hopes to add to the investment activity by being prepared to support demand and momentum for new office space in Blue Springs.  This project will also create a new headquarters for two local companies: Wrisinger/King Franchise Group and S & T Enterprises.  Both companies plan to move into the new building as soon as it is constructed.  Attached architectural renderings and contact information for the developer are included in this news release.
