Business Outreach Means Face-to-Face Partnering

The Blue Springs EDC offers site visits paired with a professional business survey tool called Synchronist.  This program monitors changing marketplace dynamics and provides valuable information that enables community leaders, policymakers, elected officials and city staff to make growth sensitives decisions.

Efforts include tracking industry specific opportunities, contemporary legislative issues, and new development opportunities.

Workforce Development Means Retention to Our Employers

Our trained staff knows what it takes to successfully recruit new workers, cultivate company-wide skills and facilitate professional development.  In addition to provided sophisticated international trade assistance, liaison support and resource management, we provide workforce readiness initiatives through many community and state partnerships:

"Our business community deserves recognition and support for its substantial role in shaping Blue Springs.  Progress means more than attracting new investment, it's also focusing on current employers so they can flourish."

"I particularly value BSEDC for its knowledge of the growth of retail projects in Blue Springs and access to community members.  Collaboration with BSEDC on the National Retail Training Program and the Cusomer NRF National Service and Sales certificates has allowed Metropolitan Community College to provide information about this opportunity to more members of the Blue Springs community."
